Beloved,
As we celebrate Mothers Day let us remember the blessings of our lives because each of them said Yes! Let us celebrate those who became Mother figures because without a doubt they said Yes. Whether male or female anyone who said Yes to being that nurturing figure deserves celebrating. For those of us who celebrate even in the absence of that beautiful physical being, let our memories remain as that of a beautiful sweet smelling rose!
Although my mother is now forever with the Lord, I still feel her presence, continue to smell her beautiful fragrance, and feel her touch when it is needed the most. I am so grateful for her in every way, even in times of strict discipline that have shaped and molded me into the woman that I have become. Although I celebrate in gratitude for her each and every day, on this day I’m reminded even more of the sacrifices she made just for me because of her unconditional love. I believe every parent and or parent figure who said yes, sacrificed because of that unconditional love.
Sometimes our actions are as those of the people of Jerusalem yet like Jesus the Christ our Mothers desires were to always gather and protect us. If you still have the blessing of your Mother’s physical presence don’t delay in honoring her right now, she deserves it. After all without her you would not have the blessing of living!!!
(Luke 13:34 NLT) – “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that kills the prophets and stones God’s messengers! How often I have wanted to gather your children together as a hen protects her chicks beneath her wings, but you wouldn’t let me.”
Amen! Hallelujah! Thank you Divine Presence!
