The more we grow the quicker it seems that the seasons change! September is bringing about a refreshing relief of heat while residing here in the country side of the desert. Watching flowers beginning to bloom and plants growing green as if in hibernation from the scorching heat of the summer continually keeps me in awe of God. This is what I normally see in spring in the cooler regions of our state, and other parts of the country. Like these wonderful species we are encouraged through what is written to wake up from our slumber, to live vibrantly in peace love and joy. We are encouraged to love not only one another as humankind but to love ourselves as Spirit loves us. For many this could be challenging yet not impossible. All things are possible for mankind who has been gifted and birthed with love and all the attributes of Divine Presence. It is simply up to each individual to wake up and know this truth for self. There are a lot of things happening in the world around us, yet I am a firm believer that what you feed upon you become. Personally I can not indulge in anything that does not produce life and that more abundantly. I love the following quote from Rev. Michael B. Beckwith:
When you place your attention on the Presence—the presence of love, beauty, joy, and harmony—then, through the Universal law of Mind in Action, evidence of that shows up in your life. Where is your attention?
Wake up for the joy of the Lord is our strength!Amen and So It Is!Brenda D. Cooper
