Have you ever had to step back and guard your tongue from speaking that which does not build up or encourage? When I find myself in such situations, some of which I put on myself in, (can’t blame a soul for your own actions and words) I am reminded of a particular scripture that keeps a bridle on my tongue and helps my mind stay in a place of wholeness. I am reminded that whatever we speak out into the Universe is what we speak on ourselves. No matter what the current climate is in this season, a disciplined tongue and healthy mind has a way of changing the temperature in the atmosphere!
(Psalm 19:13-14 NKJV)-“Keep back Your servant also from presumptuous sins; Let them not have dominion over me. Then I shall be blameless, And I shall be innocent of great transgression. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, my strength and my Redeemer.”
Amen! Amin! Ashai!
