Sister and Brothers,Our sorrow at times can be so overwhelming that we are desperate to pour out all that is within us on the Master. Like Mary we fail to realize that God knows our deepest hurts and is there to comfort and bring peace where there seems to be none in view. Let us continue to pray for those who struggle with loss and ask the Lord to bring to them comfort and peace quickly. Let us pray also for ourselves when we can’t see that God knows all and is working on our behalf, even when we can’t see it. May the Lord of Mercy and Grace comfort each one today that needs Him desperately.
Blessings in Christ Jesus,
Apostle Brenda D. Cooper
“Then she returned to Mary. She called Mary aside from the mourners and told her, “The Teacher is here and wants to see you.” So Mary immediately went to him. Jesus had stayed outside the village, at the place where Martha met him. When the people who were at the house consoling Mary saw her leave so hastily, they assumed she was going to Lazarus’s grave to weep. So they followed her there. When Mary arrived and saw Jesus, she fell at his feet and said, “Lord, if only you had been here, my brother would not have died.””
