Beloved,Praise the Creator who gives man the ability to create beautiful art. Let us not confuse the created gift given to man for the Creator who alone deserves our worship. Let us clean consistently our closets of idols and images that can not save or give life.
Justice and Peace in God our Banner,
Apostle Brenda D. Cooper
Those who make these images, and those who lust after them and worship them, love evil and observe better to trust in. Consider a potter, thoroughly kneeling the soft clay and using it to shape all sorts of things for our use. Some of the clay makes vessels intended for clean purposes, using it to construct a meaningless idol, even though that potter was molded out of the same earth not long before and must return to that earth when the life that was loaned is demanded back. Even so, this person does not waste time thinking about the suddenness of death or the shortness of life. Rather, the potter tries to outshine all the goldsmiths and silversmiths, imitating even those who work in bronze, taking pride in the uselessness of all these handmade images, but ends up with a heart filled with ashes, with a hope worth less than the dust of the earth, and a life that is cheaper than clay.
