Saints,Although the miracle of blind man having sight disturbed the Pharisee’s, Jesus followed through with His mission of gathering souls for the Kingdom. There are those of us who were once blind and now we see and there are those who have yet to open their spiritual eyes to receive sight. When we say we see but refuse to open our eyes we live in darkness. It is at these times when we are in need of God’s loving touch to help us,
A couple of months ago I had the awesome honor of sharing the Good News at a Retreat. Although the message title was different from my tag line it reminded me of how God can open our eyes through words that we need to hear. The tag line was “SPANK ME JESUS”! As I so willingly say whenever I’ve stepped out of line. God only discipline those He love and His discipline unlike ours is with great compassion and love. May His discipline open our eyes to see and give us hearts to receive what is needed for us today.
Love and Sight in Christ Jesus,
Apostle Brenda D. Cooper
“Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when He had found him, He said to him, “Do you believe in the Son of God?” He answered and said, “Who is He, Lord, that I may believe in Him?” And Jesus said to him, “You have both seen Him and it is He who is talking with you.” Then he said, “Lord, I believe!” And he worshiped Him. And Jesus said, “For judgment I have come into this world, that those who do not see may see, and that those who see may be made blind.” Then some of the Pharisees who were with Him heard these words, and said to Him, “Are we blind also?” Jesus said to them, “If you were blind, you would have no sin; but now you say, ‘We see.’ Therefore your sin remains.”
John 9:35-41 NKJV
