Dear Saints,Although Christ knew who would remain and who would desert Him, it must have been difficult and painful to see the others walk away for the lack of belief and understanding. Today when people walk away from the Truth it is difficult, but we are to strengthen that which remains. The Lord already knows who will follow and who have not been called to Him. Let us pray for the lost, and all are unable to understand the deep truths of God. Let us also pray for ourselves to be as the disciples who remained. Let us remain steadfast and faithful to our God, His Truth for us and to His call.
Love and Peace in Jesus Christ,
Apostle Brenda D. Cooper
“But some of you do not believe me.” (For Jesus knew from the beginning which ones didn’t believe, and he knew who would betray him.) Then he said, “That is why I said that people can’t come to me unless the Father gives them to me.” At this point many of his disciples turned away and deserted him. Then Jesus turned to the Twelve and asked, “Are you also going to leave?” Simon Peter replied, “Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words that give eternal life.”
