Beloved,The Lord our God is slow to anger, and abounding in love. The Divine allows us freedom to choose life or death for ourselves because sincerity of heart freely given and not forced is the relationship that is desired of Him. Today as we approach the Throne of Grace let us do so knowing that our freewill brings blessings or curses by the choices we make.
Peace and Mercy in the Omnipotent Divine,
Apostle Brenda D. Cooper
How fitting then, that they were punished by means of them: They were tormented by hordes of vermin. But even as our oppressors were punished, you treated your own people with mercy, sending quail for them to eat – an exotic food to satisfy their hunger. Our oppressors, hungry as they were, we’re so sickened by the loathsome creatures sent to them that they lost all appetite for food; whereas your people, after a short period of wanting, delighted in wondrous foods. It was right that unyielding hunger should overtake our oppressors; it was also right that we should learn through a taste of the same how our enemies were tortured. So when fierce poisonous snakes stormed against us, and we were dying from the bites of these writhing creatures, your anger did not last to the bitter end.
