Sisters and Brothers,As mentioned earlier this month I am reminded to take a look at the man in the mirror when there is a need for change to happen. This self examination has a way of keeping me free from secret and personal idols. Let our hope and trust remain in Abba God knowing that nothing should ever be worshipped except our CREATOR!
God’s Abundant Grace Upon You,
Apostle Brenda D. Cooper
Never acknowledging the potter’s own creator, from whom the artisan received an active imagination and was infused with breath of life. No, this person considers life to be nothing but a game and our existence a market where money can be made: “By hook or crook,” this one says, “one must make a living!” But those who make fragile pots and idols from earthly stuff should know the truth better than most. But most foolish of all, far worse than the childish, are the enemies and oppressors of your people, the Egyptians. They looked upon all their statues as gods, even though the eyes of their idols couldn’t see, they couldn’t draw breath through their noses, their ears couldn’t hear, their hands couldn’t feel – and their feet were useless for walking.
