Beloved,It is amazing how the Word of God can lift ones soul to truth while added forgeries are meant to keep others in bondage. I love the Inclusive Bible The First Egalitarian Translation, which seeks to remain close to the original manuscripts as possible. Let us learn to seek out truth as in written form and from the Spirit of Wisdom most of all.

So even the nation’s idols will have their day of visitation, since, even though they are a part of creation, they have been twisted into an abomination to make people stumble and trap the feet of the foolish. The making of idols is the beginning of impurity:
They are the inventions that have corrupted human lives. They did not exist from the beginning, nor will they remain with us forever. They are the products of human arrogance, so an abrupt end has been planned for them. Consider a parent who, overwhelmed with grief by the untimely death of a child, then constructs an image of the child, thereafter honoring as a god what has previously been nothing more than a corpse, then hands down to future generations the duty to perform these customs and rituals.
